Scotland has just over a hundred malt whisky distilleries—although only 89 are currently in operation. Each of them produces a malt quite different from the next. However, less than half of these whiskies are available as single malts.

Since the Society's foundation in 1983, we have bottled some 750 casks of whisky from 114 distilleries all over Scotland. We are currently bottling between 150 and 200 casks a year, and at any one time can offer members in the region of 50 different malt whiskies.
