Scotland - Our Headquarters

If you live in Scotland or elsewhere in the UK, you shouldjoin the Society in Scotland.

Our headquarters are located at The Vaults in Leith, theharbor of Edinburgh. The Vaults are one of the oldest commercialbuildings in Scotland and just a few minutes from the citycentre. Members and their guests are always welcome - we offerclub facilities with a Members' Room and Bar, which we convertedfrom splendid Victorian offices. Light lunches are served 6 daysa week, and malt whisky tastings are held on a regular basis.There are two well-appointed flats available for members andtheir friends who are visiting Edinburgh. For members who cannot visit us in Edinburgh, we also holdwhisky tastings at venues around the country. These are as muchsocial occasions as serious guides to whisky, and you are welcometo bring guests.

Membership Details

Membership in Scotland costs £50 for the first year and £20per year thereafter. The first year's subscription includes anintroductory bottle of whisky. If you prefer, you may join for£25 without the introductory bottle.

Important note: The Society headquarters cannot sendwhisky to addresses outside of the UK. If you liveoutside the UK, you should join the overseas branch serving yourcountry. If none of the branches serves your country, pleasecontact the branch nearest to you for further information.

Because the Society sells alcoholic beverages, we need to haveyour signature certifying that you are of legal drinking age. Aswe are not set up to verify digital signatures, this means thatyou need to send in your application by fax or by post.
