Die Bushmills Brennerei am Fluß Bush nimmt für sich in Anspruch die älteste Whisky Brennerei in ganz Irland zu sein (1608). Auf jeden Fall ist sie die letzte verbliebene Brennerei in Nord-Irland. Als einzige produzierende Brennerei in Irland hat sie sich ein Aussehen mit ihren Pagodendächern wie ihre schottischen Geschwister erhalten. Heute gehört auch sie zu der Irish Distillers Group aus der Republik Irland.

Neben den bekannten Old Bushmill's Malts und Blends füllt Bushmills auch den Coleraine ab. Der Coleraine stammte ursprünglich aus der nicht weit entfernt liegenden Brennerei Coleraine, die 1978 geschlossen wurde.

Bushmills ist berühmt für seinen hohen Maltanteil in allen seinen Produkten, die durch eine dreifache Destillation und die Lagerung in Sherryfässern sehr mild ausfallen.

The Bushmills distillery on the banks of the Bush river claims to be the oldest in all Ireland (1608). By all means it is the last remaining and producing distillery in Northern Ireland. Bushmills is the only producing distillery whixh still has the pagoda shaped roofs like its Scottish brothers and sisters. Today Bushmills belongs also to the Irish Distillers Group of the Republic of Ireland.

Bushmills bottles the Coleraine beside the famous Old Bushmill's malts and blends. The Coleraine comes originnally from the Coleraine distillery close by. It was closed in 1978.

Bushmills became famous for the high content of malt whiskys in its products. The malt whisky is smooth from a tripple distillation and the maturing in sherry casks.
