Virginia Gentleman - 90 Proof Small Batch Bourbon

In addition to the eighty proof variety which is based on the original family recipe and which remains extremely popular, Bowman Distillery now offers Virginia Gentleman® 90 Small Batch Bourbon. As the name implies, VG 90® is a ninety proof bourbon we manufacture in "small batches". It is aged for a minimum of six years in charred oak barrels after it has passed through our unique copper still and our meticulous filtration system. Shortly after its introduction, VG 90® received a "Four Star - Superb, Highly Recommended" rating in F. Paul Pacult's "Spirit Journal". According to the "Spirit Journal", VG 90® has "an understated bouquet that's simultaneously mannered and complex. The aftertaste is warm, long, and supersweet; a serious mouthful of whiskey." Bowman Distillery packages this premium bourbon in a special bottle with a hunt-scene label to commemorate A. Smith Bowman's founding of the Fairfax Hunt.
