Die Strathisla Brennerei wurde 1786 erbaut und später, im 19. Jahrhundert, erweitert.
Damals hieß sie noch "The Milton Distillery" aufgrund der nahegelegenen Milton Burg, die schon im 15. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde.
Das Wasser für Ihren Whisky kommt von der Quelle "Fons Bulliens", was aus dem Keltischen übersetzt "Sprudelnde Quelle" bedeutet.



Products

The Strathisla Distillery was built in 1786 and then extended during the 19th century.
Once, it was named "The Milton Distillery", because of the nearby Milton Castle, which was already built in the 15th century.
They take the water for their whisky from the "Fons Bulliens", which is celtic and means bubbling spring.
