Die Tullamore Brennerei im Herzen Irlands lag direkt am Grand Canal, der den Westen mit dem Osten verbindet. Tullamore wurde bereits in den frühen 50er Jahren geschlossen.

Die Namensrechte am Tullamore Dew gehören heute Allied Domecq, die den Whiskey in Midleton durch die Irish Distillers Group herstellen lassen.

Auch wenn die Brennerei abgerissen wurde bleibt die Stadt Tullamore wegen des dortigen Killbeggan Whiskey Museums (Alte Brusna Brennerei im Besitz von Cooley) einen Besuch wert.

Heute stellen die ehemaligen Besitzer der Brennerei (Familie William) den Irish Mist Likör in der Stadt Tullamore her, der sich einer wachsenden Beliebtheit erfreut.

The Tullamore distillery was situated on the banks of the Grand Canal, which connects the east of Ireland with the west.Tullamore was closed in the early 50s.

The rights in the name Tullamore Dew belong to Allied Domecq. Midleton produces this whiskey for Allied today.

Even when the distillery was pulled down, the town of Tullamore is still attractive. The Killbeggan Whiskey Museum (Old Brusna Distillery, owned by Cooley) is worth a visit.

Today the former proprietors of the distillery (William Family) produce the Irish Mist liqueur in the town of Tullamore. The popularity of this liqueur increases steadily.
